"Stupid is as stupid does!"  ... and there sure is plenty of stupid to go around these days...

Check out this idea, it is one in which a way forward in terms of changing attitudes and morays about how we might want to behave in a civilized, democratic society.. NOT!  So far the Occupy Money Cooperative is nothing but a slightly lower fee charging, pre-paid debit card.  Really, that is the best that you ****ing "bankers" could come up with?

You've taken away (you and the colluding governemtns) our ability to earn from savings and forced everyone into the market.  There are no savings accounts that earn even a modestly reasonable rate because you (and the colluding governments) have taken that away from the 99%.  That's why people hate ****ing bankers and the greedy, crooked, ****ing financial industry!

But let's not forget our lying, guttless, corrupt government representatives. They went willingly along with the agenda to take away a safe, albeit modest way to earn on the money we manage to sock away as opposed to being forced to gamble it in the marketplace.  **** you too!

They say you dream about the subconscious, that may be true and if so perhaps very telling. My dreams of late are much like the one I'm about to describe and that is certainly very telling.

Having now to deal with a persistent, chronic illness last night's dream starts in the office of a specialist physician. The physician begins telling us excitedly, about new research and how the latest technology is creating huge advancements in the area of our specific condition. This certainly piques our interest as we listen intently for more detailed information, which we quickly learn is dependent on one specific thing. That one very specific detail, our physician informs us is that we must maintain our premium payments otherwise for certain we will be excluded from the benefits of any advancements in the area of our disease management or cure.

Life just isn't fair, it is an undeniable fact and just how unfair life might be at one particular place, in one particular time might be considered a determining factor of how civilized that time and place might be.  I believe this to be true and it would seem that we are turning back (once again) to a time where we are less civilized.  Things like tolerance, the hatred of so many and of so much, a reveling of ignorance – these are things that also seem to determine just how civilized a society is.

There is a growing rationalization of our collective dissonance surrounding the unfair treatment of others.  As long as it is not me or mine then, well I may not like it but that’s just the way things are.  Things “are” that way because we allow them to be and even the rationalization we allow ourselves to use to soothe our potential guilt is something we at some point will need to squarely face in order to affect change.

It is apparent that there is an ever widening gap between those that have and those that struggle to get by. What we do in regards to this dilemma (of course there are those that deny this is a dilemma) may determine whether we are leaning away from or towards a more civilized world.

I ran across an article today that referenced how executives in the know should be fixing what is broken with regards to customer service in their individual organizations.  Phooie!  That will never happen in the current corporate climate.  Today's corporation is about pure, unadulterated profits - nothing else and customer service is a cost center that needs to be constantly trimmed, cut and minimized.  Not polished and refined to create a better, easier, more fluid customer experience.  There are some exceptions but these are few.

The mantra among corporate execs is, "make more money" and let the customer "adapt" to the kind of service we give them!
